Locksmith scratched my new car...?

I have a 2007 Civic(1 month old).I just moved into my apartment that day&was buying major groceries.I accidentally locked my keys in trunk.So, I called a professional.He told me he was insured. After a while of him trying to unlock the vehicle, I suggested getting the extra key in my apartment(apt key also in purse, locked in trunk).I later find out he just didn't want to go to this particular apartment complex since his ex lived there!By the time he gets the car unlocked, I am looking at scratches on the interior of the driver door.They were minor, however, it is my brand new car!He said they would come out, and got upset&in a rush to leave when he saw I was unhappy.The door handle has the most scratches, and the vinyl is less noticeable.He took off $5& just told me to call insurance the next day.He was upset&said this is why he's thinking of getting out of the business.Do you think I should let it go?I felt bad, but I guess we were both having a bad day.This has been irritating me...
