As capitalism ravages the planet, when do you think Americans will finally retract and move to socialism?

it won't recover.. the rich drive American politics through bribes.. they will continue to bribe politicians and the politicians will continue to act in the best interest of the rich.. meanwhile the rest of us will be pushed farther and farther down.. pretty soon there will be no middle cl in this country.. it will be the 5% extremely wealthy and the 95% who are in poverty.. but the politicians STILL won't do anything to change it because as politicians they will be part of the privileged 5%.. those with money make the rules.. for example, the RIAA decided that sharing files is the equivalent of stealing and deserves harsh penalties.. they can decide this because their money gives them the power to decide it.. politicians simply go along with it because of the money they're receiving.. the whole system is corrupt, but I don't see it ever changing..
